We are all hopeful that the Lille 2022 conference will take place in person, given that is in summertime. We also hear that there is little appetite for an online conference. However, if the COVID situation prevents us from having an in-person meeting, the Lille conference will be postponed to 2023 and ESCOP intends to refund the conference fee to everybody. Note that the ESCoP membership fee will not be refundable. Membership will stay valid for the conference in 2023 (at which point you will not be asked to renew your membership). In this way, ESCoP is confident that in the worst-case scenario the society can bear the administration costs of cancellation with minimal influence for everyone wanting to attend the 2022 ESCOP conference.
